Aussie gay surfers

I spoke to three vastly different Australian surfers to discuss their perspectives on why being gay in the lineup is still taboo and the experiences they’ve had growing up in a country full of surf, sand and waves. Aussie Surfer Boys Gaydar Alert!

The Feed meets three gay surfers who have all recently come out in a sub-culture where they say homosexuality is still a taboo. Sydney is Australia’ largest city and is home to Australia’s largest group of gay surfers, a friendly, socially active lot that meets regularly for group surfs and other surf related activities.
