Romance plots weren’t really a major selling point of Warcraft, so a lot of the romantic relationships came after the stories told in Warcraft were finished. It would be more of a slap in the face to the gay community than the almost complete absence of gay characters right now.

I'm not even sure if I'm remembering correctly or just imagining things. Homophobic players getting triggered after experiencing several questlines / story arcs featuring gay romances within the first two hours of Dragonflight. Just because a man is gay doesn't make him a flaming queen, nor does a woman being a lesbian make her super butch.

CrazyFool 14 years ago There is one gay character. For our gay male friends we have: Ishka and Tharu, the ecologists drakonid in Waking Shore, they even adopt a duck it's really adorable.

I mean, if I remember correctly, there were some male blood elf NPCs that were implied to be gay or something, but I neither remember who or where they are. Which means either super butch or flamingly overbearing. It's easy to make a gay character without overloading on stereotypes--you make a character who happens to be gay.

You'll have to find some way to deal with it. What I post are my opinions. Has anyone actually ever met any NPCs that were implied to be gay? This is an internet forum. It would literally make more gay people mad than the lack of a gay character does.
